A worn and well-loved antique oak trunk is a fabulous and functional way to add character and storage to any space. This piece is solid oak and has a very deep wood finish that reads dark brown to black depending on the lighting. It has some decorative trim at the front and sides as well as an iron escutcheon at center. The inside is generous and the lid is attached with two iron hinges. There is some distressing to the feet (shown) and some minor losses to the edges. The top does have a slight gap in the joint between two panels and what appears to be a patch done some time ago (shown).
